Harry Babbitt - Civil War - CPL, K Co., 55 IL Inf.; enlisted Oct. 23, 1861, discharged Sept. 1862.  Major battle: Shilo.

Hugh Babbitt - Civil War - PVT, G Co., 50 IL Inf.; enlisted Sept. 21, 1861, discharged May 1, 1862 for disability. Saw action at Fort Donelson, Peach Orchard, Shilo.  Hugh was 44 when he enlisted as a private.

Israel Babbitt - Civil  War - CPl, G Co., 50 IL Inf.; enlisted  Sept, 24, 1861. Died in Paducah, Ky., April 3, 1862.
